CSI Crime Scene Intercessors – On January 25th a team of two people from Crosstown Community Church gathered at a church called The Bridge. There had not been a homicide in Stockton for over a week, so we prayed God’s Blessings on the church, on the pastor and congregation. We prayed that God would impact that neighborhood through their ministry; We prayed John 15:15; and we thanked God for all He is doing there.
On February 1st, a team of two people gathered at the 4500 block of Feather River Drive where a man was shot & killed in his car, and crashed into a nearby business. We prayed for the family & friends of the victim; we prayed for the engineering firm whose wall he crashed through; we prayed for the employees who are traumatized and fearful; and we asked the Lord to take what the enemy meant for destruction and bring new life and hope out of this tragedy.
